Mini dvd camcorder will play on camcorder but not on dvd player? - how to finilize a disk from the sv2000 dvd recorder/vcr combo

I have a mini # min Samsung DVD Camcorder DC173 (U). I have DVD + RW. And if you will record video that all can play in the camcorder, but only a part of the video in my DVD player. My manual says that you do not finilize DVD + RW. The first record I recorded a good job, but the two latter not. Ideas?
